Controversial Nigerian singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has called out fellow celebrities for not supporting popular music video director TG Omori after his failed kidney transplant surgery in Lagos.
The surgery was unsuccessful because TG Omori’s body rejected the kidney donated by his only brother.
Some celebrities, like Kizz Daniel and Davido, showed their support on social media, but many others have stayed silent about TG Omori’s health issues.
Portable, who recently received a 10-year Canadian visa, shared his disappointment in a video, claiming that the entertainment industry is full of fake love.
Portable expressed his frustration that celebrities like Victor Osimhen, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, and Niniola donated to cross-dresser Bobrisky during his jail term, but have not extended the same help to TG Omori, who is struggling with a serious health condition.
“TG Omori has a kidney problem and celebrities are not donating money or kidney for him but Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky who has no value. The industry is full of fake love,” Portable said.
In response, TG Omori said, “All I needed was your prayers, moral support n love and this I am grateful to have gotten in abundance. The industry and friends have been solidly behind me months before it all came public. Please ignore the clout desperate dogs. Jesus is king.”
