Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the apprehension of businessman and Instagram influencer, Benjamin Nnanyereugo better as Killaboi in Sierra Leone for the alleged murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.
Speaking with newsmen, Hundeyin said that the Nigerian Police is working on extraditing Nnanyereugo to Nigeria.
“He was arrested by the Sierra Leonan Police Forice and we are working on extraditing him to Nigeria,” Hundeyin said.
Recall that Nnanyereugo was declared wanted by the Lagos State Police on October 11 for the murder of Osedion, a 21-year-old student at Lead City University.
The police said that Nnanyereugo was suspected to have killed Osedion on July 13, 2023, at his home in Ajah, Lagos.
The statement read in part, “Following the exhaustion of all available options to bring him in, he is declared wanted.
“The suspect is 26 years old, approximately 5’9 feet tall and hails from Abia State. He is dark in complexion and speaks English, Igbo and pidgin English fluently.
“If seen, please contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.”
