Wiz Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, was arrested in Romania for having cannabis.
He was the main act at the “Beach, Please!” festival in Costinesti on Sunday, July 14, when the police found the drug.
In Romania, cannabis is a “risk drug.” If found guilty, Wiz Khalifa could go to jail for up to ten years.
The Romanian anti-organized crime group DIICOT said the rapper smoked the drug on stage. They found more than 18 grams of cannabis on him, while he smoked a handmade cigarette during his performance.
Wiz Khalifa was arrested along with some other people early on Sunday, but was released soon after.

After his release, Wiz Khalifa wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Last nights show was amazing. I didn’t mean any disrespect to the country of Romania by lighting up on stage. They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big ass joint next time.”
