Nigerian singer, Skiibii, has spoken out against accusations made by video vixen and influencer, Nicki Dabarbie, who claimed he and Mayorkun tried to use her for ‘rituals’.
Dabarbie took to social media to accuse Skiibii and Mayorkun of attempting to involve her in a ritual during a boat cruise.
She posted a photo from a hospital, alleging that they also called fake police to assault her and confiscate her phone for going live on social media.
In response, Skiibii dismissed Dabarbie’s claims as untrue, asserting that she aimed to damage his reputation. He revealed that he has reported the matter to the police.
Taking to his Instagram story, Skiibii addressed the allegations, stating, “I typically remain silent when people come for me in the media, but I feel it’s necessary to address recent events, especially when false information is being spread. I will no longer allow anyone to tarnish my image because they know Skiibii won’t run to the media to speak.”
“While I’ve chosen silence to maintain peace, it’s time to reconsider. The truth will prevail in due time,” he continued.
Skiibii emphasized that the circulating narratives are completely false, expressing confidence in the police’s ability to conduct a thorough investigation. He affirmed his commitment to letting the legal process unfold.
“I have reported the incident to the Nigeria Police Force because there’s nothing to hide, and I trust that they will conduct a thorough investigation. I will let the law take its course to its full measure this time,” Skiibii concluded.
