Emergency workers in southern Italy are looking for two people who went missing after heavy rains caused floods and landslides in the Campania region.
The fire brigade reported that a woman in her 70s and her son, who is in his 40s, went missing near San Felice a Cancello, close to Naples. This area was badly affected by landslides.
As of midnight (2200 GMT Tuesday), both were still missing.
Heavy rainfall led to the landslide that hit the town, according to the ANSA news agency. Firefighters are currently evacuating people from the area.
A yellow alert for thunderstorms is in place for most of central and southern Italy, including Campania.
