Idowu Iluyomade, a former pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has started a new ministry called “The Family Fellowship” in Lagos.
Beyond Boders reports that this follows his suspension from the RCCG’s City of David Parish in June 2024.
Iluyomade’s suspension came after controversy surrounding the 60th birthday celebration of his wife, Pastor Siju, which took place shortly after the death of a prominent church member, Herbert Wigwe. The timing of the event led to widespread criticism.
The first service of “The Family Fellowship” was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos. It was a joyful occasion, filled with dancing and celebration.
Iluyomade invited the public to join the fellowship, promising a rewarding and uplifting experience.
“The Family Fellowship invites you specially. Join us tomorrow at the Civic Centre for a special time in the Lord’s presence. Promises to be a great experience,” he shared on Instagram.
