A big explosion happened in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, today, as a tanker carrying a type of fuel called Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) overturned and exploded on the Obiri-Ikwerre Flyover.
The explosion was so strong that it broke windows in buildings nearby and was felt from far away; people living in the area felt the ground shaking.
The fire from the explosion is still burning, but the Fire Service is trying to put it out, while a crowd of people are watching, with heavy security in the area.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the explosion, as the driver of the tanker escaped just before it happened.
The authorities have not yet made an official statement about the incident.
