Nigerian actress, Kehinde Bankole, has shared her views on nudity and kissing in movies, saying they are not always necessary for a good story.
In a recent chat on the YouTube podcast ‘Duke Rants,’ Bankole highlighted the need for thoughtful storytelling and proper context when using nudity in films. She pointed out that nudity can be shown without being overly sensual if done wisely.
“The key word is intelligent. There are instances where you see n*dity, but it’s not perceived as sensual because of the context.
“Sometimes, you don’t need n*dity, you don’t need excessive k!ssing, you don’t need all of that to tell a good story. For example, if a couple has been married for 10 years, you don’t need to start the scene by showing them in a s3xual act,” Bankole said.
While many viewers agreed with her comments, they criticized the TV host for the type of questions he asked during the interview.

At 1:32, Kehinde Bankole realised she was in the wrong place. However, like the she did the conversation itself, she managed that realisation well. Because the crude thing to do would have been to say exactly what was on her mind.
But she gave the interviewer a chance to rescue… https://t.co/p0n7KmmK3O
