TikTok has removed more than 2.1 million videos from its platform in Nigeria during the second quarter of 2024.
This information was shared in TikTok’s Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for Q2 2024.
The report explains that TikTok removed these videos because they broke the company’s rules. This action is part of TikTok’s plan to make sure users have a safe and positive experience on the app.
TikTok shared that the number of videos taken down was less than 1 percent of all videos uploaded in Nigeria during this time.
The company also noted that 99.1 percent of these videos were removed before anyone reported them, and 90.7 percent were deleted within 24 hours.
