Nigerian social media star, Martins Vincent Otse, famously called Verydarkman, went to court today, and his release from jail has stirred up a lot of reactions online, especially among his fans and even celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut who seems very excited.
Before this, Verydarkman got into trouble with the police for five charges about cyberstalking.
The police wanted him locked up in jail, but his lawyers, including Deji Adeyanju, asked if he could stay with the police instead. The court said yes, so he went to the National Cybercrime Centre.
Deji Adeyanju also asked if Verydarkman could be let out on bail, but the other side wanted more time to think about it. So, the court said they would talk about it again today, June 10.
Today, Verydarkman went to court with Deji Adeyanju. Lots of folks, like fans and curious onlookers, were there too, waiting to see what would happen.
