The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed the start of registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The registration was supposed to begin yesterday, but will now start on Monday, 3 February.
In a statement, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said the delay is needed to make important changes to the registration process.
JAMB also said it is reviewing some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres after finding that they used dishonest methods to get approval.
“These adjustments come in light of the recent suspension of certain law programmes at selected universities, as submitted to the Board by the Council for Legal Education,” JAMB explained.
The board apologised for any inconvenience the delay may cause to candidates and other stakeholders.
