Well-known Nigerian activist, VeryDarkMan, has recently exposed a fraudulent scheme orchestrated by Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci.
In a video circulating online, VeryDarkMan revealed how Baci deceived thousands of individuals by promising a cooking masterclass in exchange for ₦35,000 each, only to disappear without delivering the promised services.
Initially scheduled to commence on March 22nd, 2024, the online cooking class failed to materialize, leaving registrants in the dark about the whereabouts of their funds.
Despite Baci’s apology for the delay and a promise to begin the class four days later, no further action was taken.
Moreover, Baci abruptly closed registration on March 28th, 2024, without providing any explanation or alternative arrangements for the disappointed participants.

VeryDarkMan expressed disappointment that Baci has not addressed the issue or offered refunds to those affected.
He highlighted the frustration expressed by numerous individuals who have been left in limbo, with no communication from Baci’s team regarding the status of the cooking class.
Many had eagerly anticipated gaining culinary skills and hoped to utilize them for income generation.
In his message to Baci, VDM cautioned against tarnishing her reputation, emphasizing that the incident has raised serious concerns about fraudulent activities.
He urged her to either fulfill her promise by commencing the online cooking masterclass or reimburse the affected individuals.
Failure to take appropriate action, he warned, would result in irreversible damage to Baci’s brand credibility.
