Popular Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode better known as Toyo Baby, has revealed she was so excited to reunite with her mentor, Funke Akindele, on the set of their new film, “A Tribe Called Judah,” that she cried tears of joy.
Best known for her role as Toyosi in Jenifa’s Diary, Olayode was dropped from the show in 2017 over alleged monetary issues. This led to a strained relationship with Akindele.
In 2023 however, Olayode publicly apologized to Akindele for her past behaviour; the two have since reconciled.
