Growing up in Owerri, his passion for music ignited during his formative years. Inspired by the vibrant local music scene, he began honing his craft as a rapper, entertaining his schoolmates with his lyrical prowess.
Completing his elementary and secondary education in esteemed private schools in Owerri, Alpha Ojini pursued higher education at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, where he obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Despite his academic pursuits, his heart remained devoted to his musical aspirations.
Career
In 2010, Alpha Ojini made his musical debut with the release of his first album, “No Silence,” a 10-track project entirely produced by himself.
The following year, he followed up with “The Road To R.U.S.H,” a collection of covers recorded within a four-hour session, showcasing his rapid-fire creative process.
His third project, the EP titled “My Own Horns: The Jazz Rap Project,” further solidified his standing in the music industry.
However, it was his highly anticipated rap album, “Chvmeleon,” released in 2019, that propelled him into the spotlight. With almost two million streams worldwide, the album showcased his lyrical prowess and musical innovation.

In as much as he recently experienced a breakup, he remains focused on his career, guided by mentors like MI Abaga and friendships with fellow artistes like Hotyce and Oxlade.
