In a joyous gathering at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on December 17, 2023, thousands of people came together to celebrate the 55th birthday of Pastor Evelyn Joshua.
Addressing the congregation, Pastor Evelyn expressed gratitude for the occasion, emphasizing the power of God in transforming lives from despair to hope, as gathered by Beyond Boders.
“Our celebration here today is what God can do in the lives of people; in a hopeless situation, He gives them hope,” she shared, setting the tone for the Prayer Line session that followed.”
Encouraging the attendees to extend love to others, she remarked, “Receiving unearned blessings should lead us to gratitude, not arrogance.”
Before commencing the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua offered a heartfelt prayer, saying, “Father Lord, we thank You for this wonderful day. We have come to You with a heart full of grace, a heart full of joy. Almighty God, we ask You for the grace to continue to obey Your commandments and to stay in fellowship with You. Father Lord God Almighty, let Your Word abide in us and we abide in it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, guide us to Your way of truth and give us the power to continue to follow that way. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray!”
