In a shocking turn of events, beloved Nollywood veteran Chief Adedeji Aderemi, affectionately known as Olofa Ina or Baba Olofa Ina, has sadly died.
The heart-wrenching news was shared by his fellow actors, with Saidi Balogun expressing his sorrow on Instagram.
In a heartfelt post, Balogun wrote, “Goodnight Legend Chief Adedeji Aderemi alias Olofa Ina,” paying tribute to the late icon.
Olofa Ina’s demise marks a significant loss for the Yoruba theatre and film community, as learned by Beyond Boders.
Born on May 15, 1950, to Late Chief AbdulSalam Aderemi and Late Madam Aisha Aderemi in the Jagun-Olukosi compound, Ede, Osun State, the seasoned actor grew up during the reign of Late Oba John Adetoyese Laoye, the then Timi of Ede Land.
Olofa Ina’s legacy in the entertainment industry will be remembered and cherished by fans and colleagues alike.
